30-Minute Break Requirement
– Drivers can now satisfy the break requirement after an 8-hour driving window through any combination of allowable non-driving activities like off-duty, in sleeper berth, or on-duty, not driving, provided they occur over 30 consecutive minutes.

Split Sleeper Berth Period – Drivers can now split their 10-hour off-duty period into separate periods, as long as one off-duty period is at least 2 hours long and 7 consecutive hours are spent in the sleeper berth.
