Candidates interested in this position should be able to assist the Commercial Lines Account Managers by processing changes, renewals, rating, and providing a high level of customer services to clients.
Responsibilities:
- Process new policies, renewals, endorsements, certificates and audits for correct premium and invoice transactions
- Follow up on change confirmations
- Process and confirm cancellations and reinstatements to ensure accurate and timely resolution
- Determine reasons for cancellations and attempt to save accounts; communicate with CSA’s or producers
- Prepare and complete applications in coordination with CSA’s
- Complete insurance ratings using insurance company proprietary software
- Handle fax and phone requests for certificates
- Assist with bonds
- Assist or fill in for CSA
- Compliance with organizational policies and procedures, including code of conduct and attendance policy
Minimum Qualifications:
- P&C License, or obtain license within 6 months
- Knowledge of insurance products and usage including rating procedures, coverage, and industry operations
- Ability to problem solve
- Able to multi task and prioritize with numerous interruptions
- Intermediate computer skills – knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, and email required. Knowledge of Epic agency management system a plus.
Candidates interested in this position should have the qualifications to assist and advise insured in all aspects of any type of claim until closure.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve and maintain rapport with companies and insured to provide the best possible service within agency and policy guidelines
- Read policies to interpret coverage relevant to loss
- Discuss any conditions affecting customer satisfaction with producer/manager
- Assist in preparing for client and agency-wide claim reviews
- Mediate disputes between insured/claimant and company representatives
- Document all contacts on a claim in claim notes/attachments within Applied
- Process drafts for claims that fall within agency draft authority; maintain agency draft register, signature cards, and updates
- Monitor status of claims – i.e. payments, verify timely communication, closure
- Forward loss notice to proper carrier in a timely manner
- Respond promptly to communications by voicemail and email
Minimum Qualifications:
- P&C License preferred
- CISR Designation preferred
- Knowledge of insurance products and usage including rating procedures, coverage, and industry operations
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Able to multi task and prioritize with numerous interruptions
- Intermediate computer skills – knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, and email required. Knowledge of Epic agency management system a plus.
