Account Manager - Financial Services

Account Manager – Financial Services

Candidates interested in this position should have the qualifications to support the Financial Services Advisor with client services, business development, and ongoing resources.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Financial Services Advisor in scheduling client meetings and preparing appropriate documents for those meetings. 
  • Facilitate employee education meetings at client sites. 
  • Attach and document client communications and activities in Epic. 
  • Coordinate activities in Broker Dealer compliance management system. 
  • Complete and follow up on account reporting and administrative needs. 
  • Team with staff on report preparation and financial analysis. 
  • Assist 401k plan sponsors with year-end administration to ensure that necessary documents are submitted to the IRS in a timely fashion. 
  • Stay informed on current events and economic factors that can affect the financial market. 
  • Track the performance for all clients on a plan level and keep information organized on a detailed spreadsheet. 
  • Create various plan participant letters specific to each client (ex. enrollment letters, plan transition letters, termination letters, etc.). 
  • Be aware of specific 401k plan policies including eligibility, enrollment, contributions, vesting, and more for client 401k plans. 
  • Assist with various plan participant requests when support is needed.

Qualifications:

  • Series 6 and 63 securities license required.
  • Basic financial industry knowledge in stocks, bonds, mutual funds, portfolio creation, life insurance, and retirement planning.
  • Basic understanding of Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) rules and Internal Revenue Service (IRS) 401k plan documents.
  • Organizing and coordinating skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize work tasks.
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Office Professional software, internet, email, and data entry.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

 


Marketing Manager

Qualified applicants will be able to plan, direct and coordinate brand objectives, marketing goals, and advertising initiatives; collaborate with shareholders and sales team to develop and execute new concepts and business opportunities to position BHS Insurance as an innovator and leader.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute a shareholder approved annual marketing plan and budget
  • Create summary presentations for Results Plus
  • Develop content for advertising and marketing campaigns
  • Responsible for developing and coordinating content for social media campaigns
  • Coordinate, review, edit and design responses to Request for Proposals
  • Develop, create and execute print and electronic materials, including marketing pieces, newsletters, advertisements, brochures and displays
  • Manage corporate website, including development of new pages and website functions; maintain existing website; maintain social media presence and agency blogs
  • Manage projects from start to completion with vendors
  • Coordinate advertising
  • Prepare presentations and handouts as needed for client and prospect meetings
  • Assist in the planning and coordination of client and prospect seminars and events
  • Manage projects from start to completion with vendors
  • Conduct marketing/client research
  • Respond to requests for information from the media
  • Write press releases and other general publicity documents
  • Manage and organize documents and communications; develop appropriate templates
  • Administer co-op advertising with carrier partners
  • Coordinate personal lines newsletter with Department Coordinator
  • Purchase and maintain corporate paraphernalia
  • Oversee Christmas cards and gifts

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors in Marketing, Communications or related field
  • Proven interpersonal, project management, and presentation skills
  • Strong written, oral, and visual communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to work with a variety of personalities
